Plac Dąbrowskiego 1

The building on Plac Dąbrowskiego 1 was built between 1864-66 and designed by Julian Ankiewicz.
From 1907 to 1914, it housed the Scientific Reading Room, later acquired by the Public Library Association.

In the interwar years to 1929, the building housed the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare.
The building was renovated in 2004.
